1. What problems or conflicts are presented in chapter one? Tao needing to find a rabbit is an obvious one; identify at least two more (not having anything to do with the rabbit!).
Toe sees a wolf and he thinks that the wolf was going to eat him or attach him.
Toe came late and he didn't bring any food.
2. Predict the resolution of each conflict.
I think that the wolf won't attach Toe the wolf is just going to leave .Toe gave the wolf a field mice to the he so the wolf would leave him alone[[image:ElSalvadorFl

What Toe and Ram learn to do together to be good hunters and caught their food together. They also learn to be friends but Toe's clan think that wolfs are evil spirit thats why if they see Toe with the wolf their going to kill it.

Toe tells Volt that wolf help him caught the two rabbits and the lemmings and Volt gets mad and thinks that the wolf was an evil spirit. He tells that wolf could help the clan to caught food with the people faster then they think.

Graybeard is a good teacher because he's the chosen one and when toe makes mistakes he corrects him. He tells him what is the correct way to start and how to do it.

Some of the ingredients that they use was fish oil,yellow clay,clotted blood,boiled fat,red earth. The one that was surprising to me was the clotted blood because it would be nasty to touch blood from a boar.

Toe was afraid that something was going to happen to Graybeard because he look weak and sick.

1. Even if Ram had succeeded in hunting the deer, do you think it was a good idea of Tao's to "show off" his dog's ability to hunt? Explain.
I think it was a smart choice for toe to show off Ram because it he caught the deer Volt and Garth will be proud. Maybe they won't kill Ram and let toe keep the wolf. And Volt would just let go of the past about the wolf leaving him a scratch on his chick. Still if the wolf didn't succeed maybe he would see the energy that a wolf has from a human being.

I predict what will happen next is that they will kill Ram and take out the evil spirit. And then Toe would maybe kill Volt for killing his wolf dog. But then the clan people might kill Toe for killing the leader.
